Prediction of Wave Energy Transformation Capability in Isolated Islands by Using the Monte Carlo Method

In this work, a mathematical computer simulation model is used to predict the possible energy generated from different Waves Energy Converters (WECs) in Canary Islands. The Monte Carlo Method proposed energy. Converter systems analyzed study were, Aqua Buoy, Wave Dragon and Pelamis converters. models were implemented validated, with dataset of Gran Canaria deep water buoy. This buoy belongs network buoys belonging Spain’s State Ports they cover period 22 years. research has concluded that it affirm achieved strong tool compute any WECs, when power matrix known. based on can be isolated islands Atlantic Ocean extrapolated other regions same characteristics.
